Question:

What is the Pennsylvania driving test like?

I'm going to be taking my road test June 17th, and I'd like to know all the details. If anyone has taken the test, please post here with what it's like!

  1. its different depending on what town.

    I took mine in Williamsport a few years ago.  It was really easy.  First, I had to show the guy I knew how to operate the headlights, turn signals, hazard lights, and windshield wipers.  Then I had to drive like 8 blocks.  Then I had to do the parallel parking.  Finally, I just had to drive back to the parking lot and park the car.  The only tricky thing was the one red light I had to turn at is weird.  The roads don't line up, so I wasn't 100% sure if i had to use my turn signal to go 'straight' because it kinda veered.


  2. as the previous poster stated depends where you are in the state in centre county you parallel park and you go on the road I went a couple of blocks and came back if its a Penn state football weekend which i know isn't in June then most of the time you just drive on the course they have set up hope this helps
