What is the Property Tax in Nevada and California?

Question

Since I plan on Moving to Lake Taho.. the only thing that decides the area I'm moving into is the actual Property Tax.

Exactly what is the Property Tax of Nevada? and What is the Property Tax of California? (all this will decide whether I move to South Lake Tahoe or East Lake Tahoe)

Living in Nevada over California has a number of tax advantages.

California property tax is 1%.

Nevada property tax is unknown to me, but it's assessed on only 35% of the total value of the property, so it's most likely less than that of California.
