  1. On a high end amp assume it is half the max power, for legacy, I'd say 1000watts in bridge mode, or 500 watts per channel in 2 channel mode.

  3. No, he isn't. I have one. It states that the RMS wattage is 2000wrms bridged, or 1000wrms per output. It says this, but it is less. I am running one sub bridged through this amp, and it is definitely not putting out 2000wrms. It puts out maybe... 1500 or 1600. This is still plenty, though.

    Most alternators cant handle 2000wrms anyways.
