Well, in chapter 8 Scout says, "Jem, I ain't never heard of a n***** snowman." In chapter 19 Scout says, "Well, Dill, after all he's just a *****." (This is at the very end of the chapter.)

I love  that  story.  I  remember  a  scene  where  she  and black  housekeepers little  girl  were  togeather and  they  put on the  white make up like  was done  on stages  back then and  she got in trouble with her Dad.   *mamatx
