Once I was at a cafe in central Illinois and they served BRAINS and eggs there! I passed on that one.

  1. Put mayo on one slice of bread, peanut butter on another slice and put a fried egg in the middle.

It's an interesting taste; My mom has eaten it for years.

  2. A turtle that was in a hot custard in Kyoto, Japan.

  3. crickets cooked in soy sauce & vinegar (we call it adobo crickets) yum...esp. the head part!

  4. I had frog legs before, they taste and look like small chicken legs. They were so good and i wouldn't mind eating them again. I also ate flies..i don't know what they are called they come after rain and thunder....its easy to catch them..they are big like a locust....you just catch them and make sure to put them in a big bowl that has water ...because they fly if you don't. You can eat them raw or fry them....

I also have eaten goat balls....tripe....chicken intestines....chicken feet ...cow feet, sheep feet, cow brain,

They are not like house flies...nothing like that..i just don't know what they are called

  5. i'd tried all stuffs that you said..brain, feet, tribes, testacles (animals):P, bugs, worm, snake, ... but i found the strangest for me was raw cow or goat or sheep eyeballs... its too urgg!! cant describe that feeling..

  6. tripe....cows stomack...I didn't particularly like it at all.

  7. Calamari and alligator tail

  8. When I was in France,  we ate a dish called baraneek( not sure if I spelled it right).  It's like a snail and you pick it up off the rocks from the beach and you scrape it with a knife and eat it raw.  It's just like eating snails but their raw.

  9. Frogs legs I guess.

I was in Mexico.  they were good.

  10. rabbit, chicken feet, snails

  11. The weirdest looking was chicken feet.  They looked like they were just chopped off and threw on a plate... which maybe they were.  They still had the skin and nails in/on them and everything.

    Delicious though.

  12. Brains, tongue, calf feet, chocolate-covered ants, and chicken feet don't bother me at all.

For things that were unpleasant to eat, this weekend I made tahini out of a dry package of tahini mix. It did not take long to make it and eat if but I was sick with a stomach flu for three days after that.  I thought it strange that those ingredients could be on my shelf in a pouch and not a problem to eat and they proved me right.

As far as things too strange to eat there was an Anthony Bourdain episode I watched on DVR tonight in which he was eating a fresh killed and uncleaned wart hog in the Kalahari desert. They took the pig's head (complete with hair and puke on its tongue) and threw it onto hot coals. It was the main course and for appetizers they pulled out the  large intestine from the pig's a**s and roasted it (complete with its contents) in the hot coals.

  13. In South Louisiana you can buy pickled pig lips. Never ate any but I did bring a bottle of them home for friends. They lasted a very long time.  Great for a main coarse if you are on a diet.
