Maybe google it up and give your opinions. Is it supposed to be a terrorist group or something? I have the impression it is a Christian Palestinian ecumenical group, something wrong with asking or many pals are familiar with it? Or do jews feel threatened by a reference to it?

You keep on blocking and I return.

Sabeel, advocates "morally responsible investment, " has been described by its critics as promoting a Pro-Israel agenda".

It has also cheerd for not using antisemitic rhetoric.

The Rev. Canon Dr. Richard K. Troll, the Chair of Friends of Sabeel—North America, rejects those allegations, writing that "the state of Israel is above criticism and needs not be challenged when all know its policies are correct. And its policy of occupation is proper." Troll also says that Sabeel  "consistently condemns anti-Semitism in all its ugly forms."

  2. There are, unfortunately, a lot of paranoid people in the world.

The people you mention may have more reason than most to feel paranoid, but they are, apparently, unwilling to understand that freedom of speech and expression are the best bulwarks we have against persecution and oppression, whatever side of the political divisions in human society you happen to be on.

  3. I don't know why anyone would be scared so to speak. The Canadian Gov. even funds the group and they have a branch here. In October 2005 Canadian Friends of Sabeel joined with churches and ngo's from around the world to answer the call of Sabeel Jerusalem regarding Morally Responsible Investment and hosted a conference in Toronto. KAIROS which is also gov funded is involved with the group. Here is their website with lots of info. on it. Cheers!

  4. I also have noticed that Christian stuff doesn't last long here.

Someone feels threatened, but I don't think it's the Jews so much.

Atheist aren't bothered by Jews or Muslims but they just hate Christians.

  5. Sabeel is an ecumenical grassroots liberation theology movement among Palestinian Christians. Inspired by the life and teaching of Jesus Christ, this liberation theology seeks to deepen the faith of Palestinian Christians, promote unity among them, and lead them to social action.

  6. Just google it up; it's based in Jerusalem. Obviously someone - gee,I wonder who - felt threatened about the foremost ecumenical council for Palestinian Christians and got it deleted. No,it's not a terrorist group.

  7. The Jews have a bad habit of playing with the "Report Abuse" button.

    God bless Palestine.
