  1. I used to live in Greece, it's really cool. Go too see the Acropolis, and see the musuem. It's really neat. Also go to the Kifissia neighborhood and go shopping there. There's a metro stop and you can go to The Mall. Also, go to Syntagma Square and feed the pigeons. You can buy bird seed for 1 euro and there are a ton of pigeons. It's fun. If you have time go to ancient Olympia. And definitely go to some beach. The water's best in less crowded areas. Sounia and Porto Rafti are good areas.

Try to get over to the islands. Crete has a lot of musuems and shopping, but the smaller islands are fun also.

God, I sound like a commercial. Have fun!

  2. If you're going with People to People you don't get to choose where you go and don't go. Once you're accepted, you'll get an itinerary with your day-by-day schedule. You'll go to all the main tourist areas in the countries. I have friends that have gone to Italy with People to People, and I know that in Italy you see the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the big landmarks like that. I don't know about Greece. But yeah with People to People you don't choose where you go while you're gone. You will go to the most famous areas, though. You'll be told most of the places you visit if you attend the Information Meeting held.
