What is the Sub-saharan Africa and the Far East?

Its for my finals and I completely blanked on it.

Sub-Saharan Africa is all of Africa south of the Sahara desert. It covers 4/5 or 80 % of Africa. It is sometimes called "Black Africa". Click on the link below for a map of Sub-Saharan Africa (its the green shaded land southward to the tip of Africa.

The Far East are lands to the east of British India.  The Far east is a term used to describe the countries of East Asia.
