What is the Summer Institute looking for?

I am looking into the the summer institute computers program at ohio state university for freshmen and sophomores. I am looking to apply next summer. I cannot find an application because the deadline is gone(remember i am applying for next year so this doesnt concern me) and the online material isnt very helpful. I would greatly appreciate it if someone who has applied and was accepted would tell me what kinds of things they expect of participants and what kinds of things i should do to embellish my resume so that i will be accepted. Thanks in advance.
