  1. There's a fun demonstration here: http://www.breathingearth.net/

Otherwise, I agree with Adam C.

  2. My father and I would have to say that we think it is a good thing our economy is going green but mars is also getting warmer as earth is also so we think it is probably the sun going through its natural enlarging cycle.:)

  3. not a lot but not a little either. the car to person ratio is 2 1/2 to 1 (yeah i know that doesn't make sense) but considering our population that is A LOT of cars on the highway. Compared to Japan, they can only have a car if the garage can fit it and Australia who have less population density we contribute more pollution. Also because America invented the first cars and other countries like Japan are using solar powered cars.

  4. HUGE!!

The USA is by far the worst polluter (contributor to climate change) on a per capita basis.

    Some statistics for the US:

    Has 4% of world population yet produces 25% of CO2 emissions;

Produces 20,000Kg of CO2 per person (more than China, India and Japan combined)

Consumes 50 million tons of paper annually (=850 million trees)

Uses over 200 million gallons of petrol a day for transport alone

US industries release over1 billion kg of chemicals into the atmosphere every year

16% of world oil production goes into american cars

There are >20 million 4WD vehicles in the US

About 1 million litres of oil were spilled into US waters in 2000 alone

Only 1 per cent of american travel is on public transport, an eighth of that in the UK and an eighteenth of that in Japan

The US produces >6 tons of CO2 per capita (India = 0.3 tons; Bangladesh a mere 0.05 tons

Per capita, US produces 864kg of municipal waste per year, (3X Italy).

The link below gives some details although it is a bit old (2005). However, the USA has not improved since then so these can be considered conservative minima.

  5. poloar ice caps are melting from the sun's rays therefore affecting the enviorment plus all the trees in the rain forest are dying because we are tearing down forests and building mini malls and convient stores.

  6. Like any other country, none.  That's because there is no global warming.  It's a leftist political scam to make money to support their agendas.  Any scientist who subscribes to the theory of global warming is known as a 'junk' scientist because he isn't very intelligent.

  7. None. Climate change is just a gimmic for "carbon taxes".

  8. None and U had better hope the Democrats are not successful. There is no way we can reduce our energy by 50%....

  9. none becasue there is no climate change.

  10. Scientifc analysis has shown NO cause and effect relationship between the US and climate change. What you've heard is a bunch of assumptions and hysteria. Just ask these guys: http://wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pa...

The scientific community is not being permitted to investigate the question openly. Only one side is even being allowed to be heard. This is unacceptable under the American value of free speech.

  11. None.

Anyone who has even a basic knowledge of the history of our planet can tell you that our planet goes through regular and constant changes of climate.

Remember all the dinosaur documentaries you've ever seen?

Didn't the background always seem lush and tropical?

Looked like it would be pretty hot , didn't it?

    How about caveman movies?

Remember how some of those took place in a cold , hostile environment?

Sure...they were fictional stories , but they were represented with conditions that people understood to be more or less accurate.

The point is this...our planet isn't suffering from some kind of man-made crisis.

Our planet regularly has climatic changes.

    Don't believe the hype.

Historical records from Europe (an area that has kept records longer than most other regions in the world!) prove that climatic change is a constant.Climatic change is one of the reasons why beer was (and is) an important staple in Europe.

Dig a little deeper into your internet research and you'll find out what I'm talking about.

Do your own research.Be smart about it , and don't believe the hype!

  12. Zippo.

It's the current scare tatic to get $ from your wallet.
