  1. Unfortunately, we have a bunch of morons running for office. They all think we need to do something to fight the AGW lie. Unfortunately, this will only cost you and I money and do NOTHING to the temp.

  2. They don't give a ****.

I welcome the extinction of the human race. As long as it's not to aliens.

  3. Officially we're dragging our feet and making token gestures.  Unofficially, we're funding many programs through a variety of agencies.  We've got many prestigious universities on task, too, so the next generation is already geared up and all over this situation and the related topic of sustainability.

Many of our mayors and governors have been stepping up, while vocally lambasting federal efforts.  In my opinion, the U.S. position is different and multi-faceted!

Some of these links may overlap.  There's some great stuff here if you look a bit.

  4. A recent poll indicated that 71% of US citizens believe it's real and 81% think "the United States needs to set the lead when it comes to controlling greenhouse gases and pollution."

The official government position is that it's real, but there's debate on how best to respond. Some (the current administration) want to let free-market forces solve the problem. Others want governmental legislation that will solve (or at least help) it.

  5. **** the globe and anyone who says otherwise thats the officail pollicy.

What you should be worried about is what happens when the fuel runs out on account of people that just have to drive $55k suvs with 9 row seating and a full fledged flat screen that sux fuel.

Some one could build a car or truck themselves that gets 60+ mpg and they wouldn't be alloud to register it for the street just the way it is yeah you can thank oil lobbiests for that but its just as much the safety n***s hoding back fuel effiecency The NTSB isn't going to let someone put a car on the street that weighs less than 1600 lbs

sorry for getting of topic but yeah most americans don't care allot say they do but i don't see too many of them riding a bike to work and or school

    <-UPDATE->

    Buerocracy (SP?)   nuff said

Consumers are a big problem too

  6. Do you believe? If you do,  make Al Gore rich and go to his site and support his HIS cause. He needs more money to ride his jets and make all the ones who support him rich. Yea, GO AL GO - SEE AL GO - HE NEEDS OUR MONEY!!! He taking from the poor and giving to the rich.

  7. well the official position is that it exists (sort of) we just can't prove it does :/

  8. i feel like my country is the old man who does NOT want to accept change. it's really annoying!

we're coming around on changing our carbon footprinting, but it's slow going. the government doesnt even seem to agree on whether or not it's a problem.

  9. Most of the scientists in the United States have accepted that the evidence is that man has contributed to global warming and climate change.  This has yet to translate into political policies that will help reduce this effect.  The primary reason all politicians (but especially republicans) are hesitant to face the issue is that to do so will cause major disruption of many business and economic interests.

  10. global warming is a hoax!

    its basically a liberal thought

there is no such thing, the world is and has been for its entirety, going through a phase.

Just recently scientists have said we are going through global freezing

    its all not true

    dont fall for it

    its all a phase

  11. The current president kind of dont care about it.. he just wants more more and more oil from the middle east!

    And idk.

  12. The stand of the United States on Global Warming in reference to Warfare as a source as oil has been put to use to power ships is zero. The combination of Oil powered cars as well as Oil Powered War Ships, Planes, and tanks has as far known not been  made into one. There is a book with The Title of The Military's Assault on The Environment  which  has information on military waste disposal as well which could be put as an addition to the previous.
