  1. A thumb tip is a hollow rubber (or plastic, or metal) thumb which fits over your actual thumb.  It's used to vanish, produce, or transform small objects.

You wear it on your real thumb, and if you keep your hands moving, your audience won't notice it, even if they're right in front of you.  You slip it off and put whatever you're vanishing inside it, slip it back on, and show your hands to be empty.  Very simple and effective.

You can also show your hands empty, and then take something out of the tip, in order to produce something from thin air.  Or you can take something out of it and put something else in, to transform something.

There's not much room, so usually it's used to vanish/produce/transform small scaves and foam items.
