  1. A quick web search says white coat ceremonies are medical/pharmacy school related.  I agree that a white ceremony is incredibly formal (more formal than black tie)... I have been told that in the military (the Army anyway) If you're told dress whites, then WOW - super formal.


  2. I don't know what a "White Coat" ceremony is but a "White TIE" ceremony is an EXTREMELY formal wedding. Ball gowns and tail coats are required.


  3. The only time I've ever heard of a White Coat Ceremony is in medical school. When Medical students receive their white lab coats... Is this what you were asking about?
