What is the % a company can garnish for interest after the garnishment has been paid in indiana?

my hubby and I had wages garnished and we paid it all and garnishment had stopped. Now we've been regarnished for interest on that garnishmen, but we've not recieved anything saying what will be taken out or how long. can anyone help me. thanks

    The moral to this story is to never let a financial situation escalate to the point that the creditor has to take out garnishment.

    I know of someone who had a garnishment because of unpaid taxes and the U.S. government is garnishing 42% of GROSS pay.

    However, for your kind of debt, the maximum is usually 25% of gross pay.  That's why it's always better to negotiate with the creditor WAY before we get to the garnishment scenario.
