We really love lavender, then cotton or linen... but they were not strong enough. We have a lot of indoor-outdoor traffic with the doors and windows being proped open a portion of the time. With that scenario it is hard to find a scent that will linger. I have gone back to good ol' trusty vanilla since it seems to be the most potent thing out there. I would like some suggestions though. In particular I was curious if the Febreeze Scent Stories are all they are cracked up to be? They have a Yankee Candle Vanilla Disc that I was interested in, but I don't want to waste my money if they are weak. Well any suggestions will be appreciated. Remember I want the fragrance to be S*T*R*O*N*G!!! Thanks a million :)

  1. I am a huge Yankee Candle fan...So far they have the strongest scented items I have found.

  2. The best thing to do is get an electric oil warmer with a dimmer switch:  http://www.google.com/products?q=oil%20w...  That way you can control the amount of scent and have it in the air all day.

My family likes peppermint essential oil in a spray as well.  I have started making my own with lots of essential oil, vodka & water.  It's SUPER strong but it doesn't last as long as the oil in the warmer.  My favorite scent in the warmer is the Men's fragrance "Fierce".  I bought it for my husband but he doesn't wear it so now I scent the room with it. It's a wonderful forest smell.
