  1. As long as it's not lukewarm but not too cooled.  Keep it very warm.

  2. Always use a recommended Cleaning Fluid Milton is the best 1 available

  3. the process of boiling water before hand is to get rid of the "nasties" that are in the water in the first place...after it has been boiled once its fine to let the water cool before to add the formula.

on the same note... if you are not using medela or MAM bottles (they are BPA free) then if useing boiling water, there is a chemical that is released in the plastic bottles that is cancer causing. you can google more info about this...

but yeh, it is probably best to let the boiled water cool on this note...

and make sure hands etc are washed before opening the formula tin (as per instructions) most canbe made up to 12 hours ahead or soemthing i think...

  4. It's really not a big deal you know. Just make sure you wash your bottles regularly. The formula doesn't need to mix with boiling hot water. I would suggest getting the baby water, mixing formula (or just using liquid formula to begin with) and use a bottle warmer. Whatever you use, make absolutely sure the milk is not too hot because it may burn the newborn's mouth.

  5. as long as the water is boiled at some stage it doesn't matter at what stage the powder goes in. just make sure the bottles are thoroughly cleaned and sterilized and stored in a fridge when they have reached room temp

  6. I just boil the kettle once and let it cool to feeding temp then add formula.. i was told never to add the formula to boiling hot water as it ruins the nutrients in the formula.. Also told make them all fresh, as they spoil within an hour..

I sterilised the bottles for both my girls up until they were both a year old.

Yeh everyone is told all different things..

just follow ur formula cans directions and ALWAYS wash ur hands when preparing and handling..
