What is the advantage for a callcenter agent to know other languages other than english?

  1. Are you 4 real?  

    Let's say you are call agent....and you speak ONLY one language, what happens if somebody calls in and you can not understand them for they speak a different language than you........ NOW DO YOU UNDERSTAND?  One who speaks several languages would OF COURSE be paid more.... Doesn't that make sense???? You should gain a lot of common sense!!!!!!


  2. The advantage is that your pay is higher because you are able to assist other customers that don't speak English or are more fluent in another languages other than English. Let's say you work at a call center where they handle insurance and your starting pay is 12 dollars and hour, well for a bilingual or even a  trilingual person the per hour pay would be around 13-14 dollars an hour.
