What is the advantage of putting with your glove off?

Nope not at all.

golf gloves are designed only to protect your hand from blisters etc.

They are not there to give you any extra grip with any golf club.

With a putter it would not make a difference.

I take my glove off for a putter because I get a better feel of the club.

ps sorry I thought you said is there an advantage with putting with a glove off.

It just gives golfers a better feel over the putter. If you learnt putting with a glove on you would be just fine.

some people put w/out a glove because they can feel the club more.

I don't really know but i don't use gloves at all, not with any club. I use this tape that has like cloth, and put it wherever it hurts. I really think the glove is annoying.

Several reasons I'm sure.  I take mine off to help me transition from a regular golf swing mindset to a putting mindset.  It also helps with the feel of the putt.

its what feels comfortable for u. i used to put with my glove on but now i take it off because i have more feel for the putter. its not an advantage its just what feels right for u.

i putt with my glove off because my hand gets sweety, and golfs wear and tear...so if u take it off around the greens the grips wont tear up your glove as fast (thoes things arnt free)
