  1. The "Crab" style was good but could hinder u if u plan on being a counter puncher or being a big offensive fighter, it's hard to let your hands go if you have to unfold your arms.


  2. That style was designed by Eddie Futch specifically to befuddle Ali.  It worked like a charm against a sub par condiditoned Ali.  It proved useless against George Forman and later Earnie Shavers and Gerry Cooney.  Its not very effective against punchers,  especially if you're afraid of the puncher to begin with.

  3. its good for defending you head but it is not the only important tool. you also need to slip punches with the v-slip and u-slip
