What is the age difference in hamster breeding?

like what is the AGEdifference like how many years apart can they be to mate like lets say if the female is in heat and thers like a 1 or 2 month male hamster with her wil they mate?

  1. You should not breed your hamster until it is three months old.  That is the recommended age for breeding.  However, hamsters can and will mate when they are sexually mature at four weeks.  Any sexually mature male will mate despite the age of the other hamster.  

    This is why when the hamsters are four weeks old you should separate them by s*x.  A male pup can get his own mother pregnant.  


  2. NO males need to be older or the same age as the females for safety for him

  3. males normally come in breeding at a round the age of 5-6 weeks old and will breed with a female as soon as she comes into breeding season. It is much better and safer for the hamsters if they are around the age of 6 months and around the same age as each other. It is not really wise to keep a male and female together to live as they can and probably will fight.
