  1. At those ages I would say that the Kids ought to be mature enough to be left together for a few hours.

If they "play" together well, then do it.

If they often fight, then I would think twice.

If your not 100% "right" in your mind about it, DONT

Regardless, I would, as a minimum, make sure they have my mobile phone number, and the number of a resposible adult they can call.. or even a friend/neighbour who can check on them if needed.

    Hope this helps

  2. Maybe I'm just over-protective..but I wouldn't leave a 12 year old in charge..most 12 year olds I know are not really going to know how to handle the younger kids.. I'd say the 12 year old is fine alone but 15 to watch the younger kids.

Edit to add: NEVER at night until 15..

  3. i started staying home when i was 12 but some parents think differently i was very responsible for my age and i had no younger siblings but if you trust them then it should be okay for a short period of time

  4. What state do you live in?

  5. exactly depends on your state google it

  6. It depends on the maturity level of your kids.  That is only decided by you and you alone.  It also depends on your state law.  If your 12 year old had to call the fire department or police, you can get in big trouble if your state law is no child 12 and under can be left alone.

  7. That depends on the maturity of the child and what state you live in. I some places it is against the law to leave children with someone under the age of 13.
