Some say 18 (you can smoke, vote, etc), some say 21 (you can drink, gamble, rent cars, etc). Is it 18 or 21? Would it be better if you could do everything at the same age?

  1. yes most of that is true but now its 25 to rent a car and you can have s*x at really any age but i think we need to change getting a license at 18 instead of 16

  2. It's eighteen, but that doesn't mean you can do whatever you want at eighteen.

  3. what..? the age of the majority of the US is all the baby boomers, which at the time were the LARGEST amount of children born within the years 1946 to early 1960's

Edit: im not sure what your asking, but the age where your considered an adult is at age 21, at age 18 you still have your limitations in some states, at age 21 its legal in any state to drink, gamble, rent cars etc..

  4. Well at eighteen you're legally an adult. You can sign legal documents in your own right, make your own decisions without your parent's consent, etc.

    So it's eighteen.
