  1. You have to be 18 or older (legal age to work) but usually they hare 20+

  2. If the restaurant serves alcohol, and you will be handing the drinks to the patrons then you have to be 21. Thats with every state where you have to be 21 to drink. If your state has a legal drinking age of 18, then its 18 to serve.

If you are just going to be a server(no alcohol) like at Picadilly's Cafeteria, you can be as young as 16. It depends on the state you live in, those are the rules for Georgia. I'd check with your local employment office. They have all the answers you are looking for.

  3. I think 16 or 18

  4. Depends on the restaurant but you can be as young as 16 for the host/hostess position. You must be at least 21 to become a waitress (at alcohol serving establishments).

  5. Usally 16 or 18

  6. 16 is the usual age for a hostess. 18 for a waitress. 21 to serve alcohol.

  7. I have been looking for jobs and I'm 16, and most of them told me that you can be 16 to be a hostess.
