What is the allowance on hand rolling tobacco from bulgaria?

iam going on holiday to bulgaria and want to know how much hand rolling tobacco i can bring back with me through customs

In theory, as it is an EU country, as much as you want for personal use.

However the customs wiil challenge anything above 3Kg and ask you to prove it is for personal use. As that is very difficult to do, you are limited to 3Kg

The allowance also depends on your mode of travel. Flying in from Bulgaria you are fine with 3 kg of tobacco.

Driving by car, you are restricted to 1kg of tobacco, since that amount has been declared as "personal use" in Germany or Austria.
