  1. The following can be used to control nematodes in soil:

    chloropicrin--50 gal/A, or dichloropropene (Telone II)9-12 gal/A, or dichloropropene + chloropicrin (Telone C-17)--30 gal/A,

    or dichloropropene + chloropicrin (Telone C-35)--13-20.5 gal/A

    metam-sodium (Vapam HL)--37.5-75 gal/A,

    or metam-potassium(K-PAM HL)--30-60 gal/A,

    or methyl bromide (Terr-O-Gas 67, MC-33)--225-350 lb/A

  2. Two non poison things you can use. beneficial nematodes at 10 million per acre. These need to be applied when the weather is wet as the soil has to stay damp for 3 weeks. So apply during your wet season.

Chitin has been reported to have good nemacide properties. i do not know the application rate.

keeping your soil lively and healthy (something Methyl bromide does not do-it kills almost everything in the soil) by using composts and green manures along with crop rotation will go a long way to controlling a nematode problem, though it does take 2 to 4 years to get it under control doing this the organic way. But once under control you should not have any more problems. No pesticide can do that.
