What is the am golden gate rush hour traffic time headed into San Francisco? ?

we are odd ball vacationers.we want to go into San Fran on a tuesday morning but avoid morning rush hour. a window to avoid would be nice. someone please help!

To avoid rush hour you'll need to hit the bridge by 5am.  By 6am it's too late.  If it were me I'd go into town Monday evening (8pm-11pm) and get a hotel room.

It depends how far north you're coming from.  Generally after 9:00 AM the traffic eases up.  

You also might consider taking the ferry.
