What is the annual energy consumption and cost of maintaining an average refrigerator?

  1. For me its about $235, but it is a relatively big fridge, and also it is relatively low powered, so yours should be at most around $250..


  2. THE COST TO POWER A REFRIGERATOR IS MINIMAL IN PRICE. MY POWER CONSISTS OF 2 REFRIGERATORS, DEEP FREEZE, A HD T.V. ON 24 HOURS A DAY, COMPUTER 12 HOURS A DAY, PLUS OTHER APPLIANCES  + $56.00 A MONTHS.

  3. The average refrigerator will use about $30 - $40 in electricity each month.  You can reduce that by about $5 a month by getting some of the more energy efficient models.

    Since an average refrigerator willl last about 15 years that means you will save about $900 by getting the more efficient models.
