  1. If you find out, let us people in Japan in on the secret.  Btw Ive been to Sydney and live close to Tokyo.  Your traffic is a blessing compared to here!

  2. I think that best way to ease the problem to use public transport as much as it can be .

  3. best think is to stay home. you could take alternate routes<

  4. build more commercial centres outside of cbd

stop building giant shopping centres and go back to village shopping

    better public transport

subway trains that interconnect with trains buses taxi ranks shops

    more bikeways

build heavy rail line from sydney ports to somewhere near hume highway for all processing of cargo sort of and inland port to move all heavy trucks off inner sydney road.

invest more in making rail transport more attractive to industry

build a second nsw international airport in newcastle

stop wasting money on freeways tunnels bridges and invest in real solutions

  5. I say just live with it, we have enough mexicans migrating from Sydney to Brisbane, So moving north isn't an answer!!

  6. I read that the government has announced plans for mini-bus services to ease traffic congestion in Sydney but are not sure if it will work...

  7. Make it compulsory to ride bicycles.

  8. A better public transport system, and improved cycle lanes some of the "M"s could reduce the strain however you don't see nearly enough dedicated bike lanes in the city.

I also think that sydney should be 2/3 person per car only in... it kinda makes people have to commute together.

Also businesses being more flexible with finish times/start time say 2am start 11 am finish (beats all the traffic)

I can also see make petrol another $1 more expensive my drive people out of driving

  9. make work from home the norm and not the exception
