  1. 42

but the question is what do you get when you multiply 6X8

always knew there was something terribly wrong with the universe

  2. Aww, Slick_Do kinda ruined my answer...

And to think I had finally found something that was going to brighten my way-too-late websurfing.

    :(

  3. Well it's definitely not 42 as everyone will say following me.

I think that everything is random. Call it simple but just look up 'chaos theory' and relate it to the universe and you'll realize that there is so many chances of something like us humans and this earth being created!

  4. Your question is unintelligible: It mine as well read -

'How many brown cookies do angry carpenters square?

    -or-

'What is the circumference of this sentence when we divide the sum by the last word of this sentence?'

    -or-

    'How do bricks love pudding?'

To all of these, we cannot  answer. Not because the answer is "out there" or because the answer is "to difficult for our mind to grasp", rather it is because the question is simply nonsensical guised in good-grammar.

That is why in the book he replies '42'; because such an answer is just totally irrelevant that it may as well be the answer. Any conceivable answer would be irrelevant because the question is nonsensical.

  5. YES! ... or no, .....you get to choose.

  6. ask God
