  1. 2nd One is easy (not a math pattern per say)

The first two numbers of the pattern are -23, 22.  Add first 2 digits of each and add to get 4, add second 2 digits of each and get 5, carry the negative sign. This will give you -45 (third number in the pattern)

The second number is 22 and then -45.  Take the first 2 digits of each and add to get 6; the second 2 digits added will give you 7.  Carry the negative sign over.

So, follow that pattern and take the next 2 numbers in the pattern (-45 and 67).  Add first 2 digits to get 10 and the second 2 digits to get 12).  Carry the negative sign:  -1012

This is the only (convoluted) answer I could get for the 1st one.

For the first, I get this (please check with your own calculator)

    3 to 36 is 3 X 12 = 36

3 to 36 to 1521 is done...take the 3 in 36 and turn into 1 + 2 and the 6 from the 36 and turn into 5 + 1  and intermix into 1521, which makes the next number:

    1521 X 12 = 18252.

    If you continue the pattern, the next number would be 1 + 0, 7 + 1, 1 + 1, 4 + 1, and 1 + 1

    intermingled would be:

    1,701,141,111
