    You isolate the x by dividing 6x by 6. What you do to one side, you have to do to the other. You divide the 10 by 6. The equation becomes x=10/6

    Therefore, x = 1.66666666

    Or 1.6 periodic.

    To simplify, you can make it x = 5/3.

    It's usually easier to read when it's a fraction, but write it as both incase your teacher is looking for a specific answer.
