depends on how you weight the boat what kind of hull (flat or semi -v) tiller model or do you have a stingray jr on motor?

APPROX 20-26 MPH would be my guess.

I have a 1456 with a 15hp it runs 20mph 2 person> so your 16 is quite larger so 20 will be close>What is max hp on the plate>

15 to 20 mph..flat bottom or semi V? hard to get flat bottom boats to go fast.

just a jonboat, tiller steer, no floors/decks/helm?  Get the weight distributed evenly, 30 or 33 mph wouldn't surprise me.
