  3. The answer is:   a ton.

  4. a ton is a ton.

  5. Is this a treck question? A ton, of course.

  6. Funny.

A ton would of course weigh exactly a ton - but since you ask for an approx estimate I can only assume you're referring to the rather trivial matter of how much 100 pound coins weigh.  With no such amount of cash in my trouser pockets at this moment in time I could only make bit of a wild guess - and suggest approx 2 lb 3 shillings  - and a grain of salt.

Good question - almost as funny as some of the answers.

  7. Approximately the same as a ton of feathers, but worth somewhat more

This is rather like that question,

'Which is heavier a ton of steel or a ton of feathers?'

Of course a lot of people see the materials and not the weight, as in your question.

  22. I think you mean what is the value of 1 ton of pound coins.

1 pound coin weighs 23.4 grams

1 ton is 1000 kilograms or 1,000,000 grams

    1,000,000 divided by 23.4 = £42,735.04p
