  1. It is a mix of really nice and really rough!  It's near Camden Town so good for shopping, nightlife, restaurants, etc.  And not too far from Hampstead which is one of the smartest places in London, but like any inner city area it has its share of crime and deprivation.  I worked there for 3 years between 2000 and 2003 and liked the area.

  2. It's a good area to live in, plus it's an up and coming area. Some people say it's rough but they're usually people who never lived there and are going on past reputation.

  3. try www.knowhere.co.uk then have a look on the google earth site.

  4. I know the area quite well and sorry its rough.

  5. A bit like a dog's bark - rough !

  6. I live 10 minutes from Kentish Town station

    It's a nice area.

Kentish town road has quite a few supermarkets and smaller shops, and Camden Town, which has everything, is 10 minutes away.

I like living there but I am finding that my rent is crazy so I am looking for another flat (I'm a student by the way)

Also if you drive you'll probably have to get a parking permit which I find annoying!

The main thing I like about the area is that I feel safe coming home late, which is always a bonus!
