What is the area code for 866? I keep getting calls from this number!!!?

Is this just like a telemarketer or something?? I am getting so annoyed. Is it like a pay phone? I have no idea! Please help! (I'm 14)

866 isn't an area code...

it's used for toll free numbers.

so, they're basically like 800 numbers.

you see a lot of 866 numbers on reality tv shows where the views phone in a vote.

its not an area code, companys use that number when they want to sell you c**p.

Unknown caller and 866 as the exchange is probably a bill collector.  Since you're 14, you don't have to worry, you are not legally responsible to pay bills.
