  1. Do you mean the surface area of the ball?

    SA=4(pi)(r^2)

    with r= between 4.07 in and 4.20 in

    SA=208.16 to 221.67 square inches

  2. The area of the volleyball court is either 18m by 9m=162 sq m or 30 feet by 60 feet or 1800 sq ft.

    The volume of the volleyball is 4/3 pi r cubed.  The circumference of a volleyball is about 66cm.  The circumference is pi d.  The d is 19.1 cm.  Since r is d/2, the r=9.55 cm.

    That makes the volume 4/3 pi r cubed=3646.5 cm cubed.

  3. take the circunfrence of the ball and divide that by 3.14. Then take that number divide by 2 to get the radius. Next you take that times itself and finally times it by 3.14 or 22 over 7.

    the real equation is   pi times r2 .
