What is the attraction to illegal drugs?

I see people messed up all the time and it looks like they are feeling NOthing.

What is the appeal to use drugs?

People alos get on drugs they do not need what is up with that also?

Alot of kids use illegal drugs because they know they're not supposed to, so they feel like a rebel when they do it. Then they start to feel the high, a euphoric feeling that makes you believe everything in life will be okay. It basically sets up a false identity for yourself, you trick your mind into believing your happy, because you feel happy, even though you're really miserable on the inside.

to rebel against the rules.

to not deal with your problems right then.

To ease the pain.  

Of course a whole slew of other problems arise when drugs are used.

The euphoric feeling of escaping reality.  And then it becomes addictive, the feeling, I mean.  People who are addicted (can't stop, lie about it, make excuses for why it should be legal) need to understand that the drug is a temporary fix-they will have to come back to reality or continue to get high,  and "there" is the circle we call addiction.  These people need to find the time in their life when they were happy, even euphoric, just getting out of bed and starting a new day. It might have been in their childhood.  But they need that feeling back, and then they can start on the road to rehabilitation by replacing the reality they want to escape with the reality that they do have good feelings about their life.
