I'm not trying to be a smartellic but with your grammar I would stick with boxing. A club fighter gets about 100 dollars a fight. An A+ prize fighter gets about 2 million a fight. So which are you? I would suggest taking a machinist class, average pay around here is $19.00 an hour for an experienced machinist and business is good with the war and all.

Gerard you must be ultra liberal or ultra sensitive as the first comment was not insulting and he started out with apologizing if he sounded like a smart alec.< To the question now but it has been over 40 years since i was involved in professional boxing and trained with top ten fighters Zora Folley,Manny Elias and Tony Montano but at that time any new fighter got around $10.00 a round and it went up from that depending on who your fighting and how good you were.I would venture to say a Good Heavy Weight Fighter today would more than likely start out at maybe $25-50 dollars a round and like i said earlier the rest depends on how good he is and who he fights....

Sodon22, the level of pay for any boxer (heavyweight or else) depends entirely on his ability and career successes. If you are good, the pay is good. Funny thing though, some of the boxers that have earned millions in their fighting career, have ended up broke financially and broken physically. So if it is the money that is attracting you, think about the possibility that you may end up dead, crippled or as a vegetable!
