  1. That's about right

  2. No, that's pretty good. 100 is average, so 122 is impressive. Although I must say that I think IQ tests are a load of bullsh*t... it's not really an accurate test of intelligence in my opinion.

  3. 122 is great, remember you are still young and your IQ means nothing at this age.

  4. 122 is a pretty good IQ.

the thing is, once you are over the age of 10, there is no average for age. IQ scores should be calculated regardless of age.

    but yours is reaally good

i did a free one on the internet and got 139, but i dont really trust it. then i asked for a mensa one in the post, which i found easier than the one on the internet, but i dont want to pay to have it marked, lol!

  5. The average score on most IQ tests is set to 100, regardless of age.  When the test is being made, the developer tries the test out on a sample of kids which he hopes is similar to the population as a whole.  Using statistical methods, he/she notes how well kids at different ages, and assigns a 'normed' score.  The average child at any age has a score of 100.  About 66% of students have scores between 85 and 115.   The difference is that a 13 year old student will have to answer more items correctly to get a normed score of 100 than an 8 year old, for example.

Your score is above average.  That means you have the potential to do well, likely succeeding in college or university.

However, IQ scores only give a general indication on how well you will do.  They are inexact.  (They are not useless, as some other posters have suggested, but they are far from perfect and need to be interpreted with caution.)  Results of other tests and your performance in school need to taken into account.  And you still need to work hard at your studies, in all subjects.  Later, it is important to think carefully about what you want to study and make a wise choice that fits with your interests and strenghts.
