  1. It is very normal but still something to be proud of! Congrats!

  2. My stepdaughter is 3 and she can count to 20-25. She also sings her ABC's. She cannot say them without singing yet, but I'm sure she'll be able to by next year.

  3. 2 is nice.

  4. its normal, wait till the count to100! my son counted to 100 in kindergarden when he was 5, he is now 7 and counts up to 275 and my daughter counts up to 10 and she 3! just have your child practice everytime so that way he can be vey smart later in life

  5. Well usually at 3 years old.  Now you should encourage him to keep going.

  6. I was one and a half I just graduated from harvard university and i am now 16.

  7. its normal, my niece who is turning 2 can count to ten

  8. Counting to 5 by age 3 is right. My step-daughter can count to 12 and she will be 4 in Oct. She can also spell her name. Kids minds work from hearing others, they remember what we tell them. I would start now reading highly predictable books to him, this is books that repeat words over and over. He will pick up these words and assocaite them with things. He will know that the word cat is in this book and maybe in another one he has at home to.

Have fun, looks like he is gonna be a smart one.

  9. My daughter being ADHD could count to 5 when she was 18 months old. She surprised me and knowing her ABC's by 2 yo. She is 14 now and is smart but being a typical teen, common sense went out the window...LMAO!!!! She still pretty smart though!  I'm really happy for your smart little cookie!!! That's great!!! Keep your kid going!!!
