  1. It really does depend on size. You can do the math yourself.

    Example: an above ground circular pool that's, lets say, 15 feet in diameter and 5 feet in height.

    3.14 X (7.5)^2 X 5 =

    883 cubic feet

    1 US gallon = 0.133680556 cubic feet

    so 883 X the inverse of that (7.48) = 6600 or so gallon of water. Just an idea of how much in a generic pool.
