  1. In a controlled lab test (finger tip) the time may vary from less than a minute to about 70-80 seconds.

    There are many factors  which the average time of clotting depend on.

    HERE IS a link that has details about coagulation ( blood clotting)

    I would mention a few cases before I ask you a  accept this direct answer.

    The answer should be about more or less 1 minute to 10- even 15 minutes.

    But please look at the following situations

    1. If this test has been carried out in a controlled test in LAB.......the about 50 seconds to more that a minute. ( blood shed was from a finger tip)

    2. Take the second instance.......after an accident and a major vessel is ruptured or torn, then the time would be much more longer ( 15 or 20 minutes after having performed all necessary medical precautions;

    3. And if any minor or superficial vessel is injured then the minimum time may be from 1 minute to 10 minutes.
