what is the average conversion rate of quality targeted traffic, meaning traffic that are real visitors that visit your site and not just page hits that don't result in any sales.

It depends on what you're selling... the price range... and the sales copy on the landing page of the website.

When you tally in all those factors, some people consider 1% a good conversion rate. For others it might be 5%-7%.

I have a product I sell for $77 that was generating a 13% conversion two years ago. Nowadays it's around 2%-3%. So conversion is also dependent upon how long your product has been in the market.
