I been fortunate with my teeth for over 70 years and have visited my dentist regular for checkup during this time. Most of my maintenance cost has been very insignificant. However, I broke off a pre molar in June 2008, and I immediately went to the dentist. Upon investigation he said that he would need to mill out a new upper section or crown. First the inspectional and a temporary cap. Four weeks later, I returned for the upper half setting and this took about 1 hour and twenty minutes. My total price was $800.00 I have no info about the cost of teeth rebuild/replacement. Can you tell me if this was a fair price. I left the office thinking if ONE partial replacement cost that much, I hope that I never need to replace all of them. Keep in mind, age 65 and over do not have med-care coverage for teeth. Thank for your time. GP
