  1. There really isn't one to be honest. Just because you are a high handicap doesn't mean you can't hit far or there is a certain length you can hit the ball. There are people that "crush" the ball, but just can't play and make horrible mistakes, or can't putt and that's what makes them a high handicap. Hope I helped.

  2. There is no such thing as an average distance as no one has compiled the data necessary to develop an Average.  You hit it what you hit it and play accordingly.  Everybody is different.  I am 62.....My 9 Iron straight is 150.  Draw 160  Fade 145. for what that is worth

  3. when i was an 18 it was 135. I used it from 125-135. There is no average though, as all golfers are different. You may find that to hit it straight you only hit it 115, but with a cut or draw, you get it to 140. Every shot is different. It only matters what YOU can repeat. That is how far you hit your 9 iron.

  4. it's all on your swing speed when you make contact and it's a club face is square to the ball through the path of the swing square is best that will get your best distance it still comes up to your swing speed in contact with the ball

  5. 120-130 yds

a lot of things are dependent on that... why are you an 18? because you can't putt or because you have a hard time hitting greens and drives. But average, i'd say this is right.

  6. 110 to 125 yards.
