What is the average electric bill for a one bedroom apt in Tampa Fl?

I just got my electric bill for my apartment and it's running me about $100 NOT including the activation fee. That seems ridiculous to me considering its about a 700 sq ft one bedroom place. Does that sound right?

Yes it does. My electric bill went to 217.00 last summer for a one bedroom. We were on the top floor and they said the roof heats up making my A/C work harder. I kept it on 78 degrees too.
