im a 23 year old female. I am checking my heart rate due to fat burning pills. I do not want to take anything that will make my heart rate too fast. I DO care about my health!

I am only taking them because the trainer at the gym recommended it because I have 35% body fat... I am taking Triple Tea Fat burner by Irwin Naturals.

  1. Normal heart rate is 60-80 bpm but if it goes up to 85bpm I would not worry, as long as it doesn't go too much past that you will be fine.

  2. Normal resting heart rate is 60-70, unless you are an athlete in training - I remember reading that marathon runners fairly often get referred to heart specialists because their resting heart rate is so low.

Heart rate during intense exercise, at your age, could easily get to 200. The formula is quite simple; max = 220-age.
