I'm doing some research on the types of Arabians, but I can't really find any websites that specifically tell the characteristics of Egyptian Arabians. So, does anyone know how tall they normally get?

  1. Average arabians are usually 14.3hh. Though I've met some that are 15 to almost 16 hands.

  2. Typically SE's (Straight Egyptions) are smaller than the Polish, Crabbet or Russion bloodlines. They are also (usually) lighter built and are around 14 - 14.2hands though some bloodlines are taller. I'd say average height as 14-14.3. Like any other bred their are differences among even the purest stock. SE's are also usually extremely "typey".

Straight Egytions are often reffered to as SE Arabians, Blue List or Blue Star

  3. My friend down the road owns an egyptian stud. there heights vary though, here are some example of here

3 of her mares at 2=14.3hand and 1=15.1hands

    her stallion is 15.2hands

Her 1 year old foals are 13.2 maturing 14.3-15.1hand high

    so roughly about that

  4. 15 and 15.2 hands is the average of the larger Egyptians.

listen to 4 horse for the rest.

  5. Arabians are usually found within the 14.2-15.2 range.
