What is the average height of age 13 - 17?

I am 13 and very short for my age and my doctor said my growth rate is getting better but I just want to know the average height.

While you went to all the time, trouble & expense of seeing a doctor, you should have gotten your money's worth & asked him the same question for a more professional answer.  I would say an average height for a 13 year old would be roughly 5'4".   Each person's chemical makeup & genetic progress is different - so it is hard to say exactly what one would determine as average.  The boy next door is 15 years old & 5'10" tall.  It actually varies from person to person.
