What is the average life of a human vellus hair? (time before it falls out?)?

So far scientists have not carried out any such experiment based observation so that the life span of human body hair (vellus hair) could have been determined.

Neither there is any such evidence nor exact single word to answer this question.

The termination of vellus hair ( a total years of its life span) depends on an individual and also varies from a person to person.

I read in a scientific article ( I will include it, for sure) that the logivity or average life span depends on  a few hormones in human individuals. They are testosteron and androgenes.

It has been reported that the more these hormones an individual has, the longer is the average life span of a vellus hair.

Lack of androgenes and testosterone may cause not only going bald, but also falling of       ( due to dying out hair follucles) vellus or body hair.

If you know the hair cell cycle ( consisting of anagen, catagen, telogen and exogen etc.), vellus hair termination often takes place in the CATAGEN phase.
